Finally off days from work!
Ysd was a total work out day for me, went swimming with darling Jayne.
And it has been so long since I last dipped into the pool.
As usual, completed our 30 laps before coming out of the pool.
After which, went to meet Rudy at Sentosa to learn a lil volley ball.
I swear I sucks at Volleyball, and i regretted why i dint choose that for my CCA in sec sch but netball instead.
Its a rare sight to see empty volleyball courts at siloso Beach as weekends are always packed with loads & loads of ppl.
Both of us practised for a while until some strangers wanted to join us.
And i'm relieved that they are the newbies to volley as well. haha.
And finally I tried the New Zealand smoothies!
It is indeed so awesomely heavenly that I highly encourage ppl to try. :)
Thanks Rudy for the treat & Eleanore for turning up that day for movie. hoho.
Went to visit Jayne @Munchy doughnut later & it was indeed glad to see that happy face working.
Sometimes its really fun to do some crazy stuffs once in a while.
Guess what, we actually started to play a volley just underneath the MRT track.
Thankfully that it was already quite late, so the place was rather spacious and empty.
I'm happy when I'm hanging out with friends, whether sec school or poly mates.
They just made my day. :)
And i find it a pity if all my hols is dedicated to work.
After next week, I'm gonna enjoy!
People people, just ask me out! ;)

I can't believe this whole week i haven had a full day at home.
However, I'm enjoying that.
Despite being busy with work, I did spent some days with friends :)
Went to Sentosa on Sat with those Sentosa khakis, & it kinda made my day.
It feels good to be back in Sentosa again.
I finally saw those 3 dogs, Trouble, Twinsel & Koko which I had always been longing to see.
Took a pic with lil Trouble & I cant believe it was so tiny despite it is already 7 years old.
Even my less that a yr dwarf Angora rabbit is bigger in size than him.
Found another lil kid, who is a mixed blood & shes really adorable & sweet.
KM8 is really a place where u can find loads of toddlers & dogs.
Also, volley ball players!
However, this toddler is still the champion for that day.
Can u believe she can actually put her whole hand into her mouth?
The ans is Yes.
Heart totally melts.
Learned a lil Frisbee techniques & Meng yeow is really not-a-human.
No matter how far the frisbee goes, it nv get out of his sight.
After dinner at vivo city, we went to chill at the roof top.

The following day, which is a sunday.
I went back to Sentosa again, this time round with LRM peeps & to help out for Terry Fox day Run.
Caught a 2hours sleep and woke up 4 plus in the morning to take a cab down.
It truly is an eye opener, you can see different people running.
From the young to the old, even married women who was running yet pushing her pram with her baby inside.
What really touched me is a guy who has got one of his leg amputated, yet still running, constantly encouraging the rest of the people who were running.
The whole thing ended like about 10am, hang out @Subway & PCC with some LRM peeps at Vivo City.
After which, left Mel & Taihong & we just chilled at whatever places in vivo.
Went over to Bugis lib after tt, & managed to borrow the books which I have long to read.
Dave pelzer- The Lost Boy & some Nicholas sparks books.
After which, Berns joined us in the evening & i cant believe we actually stayed at a Mall just chilling till 11pm at night.
However, I enjoy that day despite everybody was really really shagged as the day started super early.
My immune system seems to be getting weaker recently, my whole body gets really cold easily & my legs seem to be like jelly most of the times, sometimes unable to even stand really straight.
It seems to be a lil scary.
Thanks to Taihong's jacket, if not i think i'll just freeze to death @the national lib.

Went to Ikea last week & it has been decades since I last ate the food there.
And its as delicious as ever.
Went to meet up with Jayne after that & took some pics. Thanks to photgrapher Melvin. haha.
 Aimed to finish all these 3 books by early Oct & they're really gr8 company to me during my ride from work home.
And I really want to watch Ratatouie & No reservations soon. Anyone? :)

unconditional love |
Unconditional love..
is to give love freely without any string attached regardless of what the person is, and what the person has done.
Simply because they exist in your world rather than for what they do for you.
Who will really give you this kind of love?
My grandma is really one great woman, that I ever respected and one who always contributes, spread her love, care & concern without 1 complaint.
She is one that express her love, unconditionally.
Although, she isnt good at expressing her love verbally, but I always feel and sense it in every actions she did even the littlest things.
She knows that I love brown Rice, she always make it a point to cook that extra portion of me with a 2nd rice cooker even thou all my other family members hate that & only eat white rice.
She can call all the way, just to say " have you eaten?"
Although, sometimes she can be quite naggy but i know that all her nags meant well and are out of her concern.
She always knows when my pocket is empty & even w/o myself asking for it, she will always offer to say she 'lends' it to me but do not demand any $ back at all.
Even in sec school, where I have done a major mistake & where all the judgment of the people came about. She is the only one that do not judge me yet at the same time, showing her love & concern despite all the troubles I have brought home.
I still remember when I was primary 6, my teacher asked us to do a doll as our art project.
I totally freaked out, because I had never done 1 before and that was when I was so young, 12 years old.
After a few weeks, everybody has done making the doll and brought all the master pieces to work.
Seeing my friends' work, I know it was not done by them because it was so awesome fully well done mostly with the help of their Mother.
At that moment, I felt a little humiliated & do not really dare to show it out to my friends because mine was the ugliest among them, having uneven size and shape of ears and legs.
To think that I dint cherish it as I was so young then and had lost it.
Until a few months back, I found it once more in my cupboard.
At this present moment, it is the most beautiful doll I ever owned.
Simply because it was done with the help of my grandmom, careful with every stitch without the use of any sewing machine.
All i did was to find some magazine & cut out the eyes to paste on it, and also draw the 'O' shape of the mouth.
She do not have good eyesight unlike all the other mothers of my friends, hence her sewing aint that perfect.
It was the effort, the thoughts that counts.
All the things that she had done, she had never asked for a single return.
From the moment when I was born, she had never said "Granny loves you." before.
However, that 3 words is all expressed out through the kind of unconditional love no one has ever given in all my 18 years of life.
After twirling a few circles,
we're still unable to make it.
I realise I really need to prioritize the people that is worth the top list.
Time to let go & look to the future.

Holidays. |
The Exam has officially ended, and it has been like 5 days since the last paper?
I've layed my fingers from blogger for quite sometime.
Since the last paper till now, I haven had a proper rest until today where I slept almost the whole day.
Prolly enough to cover my 3 days of sleep.
Commex IT show @Suntec Spore, thats what that had drained me out.
After my last paper, I went to Suntec spore immediately & start work.
As I've said, Commex IT show,
Should be electronic devices, handphones, laptops etc etc.
BUT BUT..

And u get wierd stares while people walk past and u get such comments :
"HUH, here also got Singapore Pool ah?" *laugh loudly*

30 x $10 = $300
$6 X 10= $60
Total = $360 PER DAY.
Just imagine the amount of money earned if every accounts closed is successfully approved..

And I do wonder where is their sense of control,

The end of Commex, such a mess.
As always..
The following day which is yesterday, we went to to main SG pool branch to do some paper work.
This time round, the job scope was very very different.
That made me almost doze off.
Ended up, we did some cam whoring @ the place.
This hols will be rather long until mid Oct and I'm going to work like a slave this month.
Starting from next month onwards, I'm going to enjoy like nobody's business.
And going to KL and Genting with Mellisa and maybe TaiHong too!
Going to Malaysia is like nothing to be excited about, but to go with friends I'm sure it is something to look forward to. At least to mee.. :D

My house is going to be renovated soon, for like 1 mth.
Thats like $50 k in total.
Totally renovated and I have to move to hougang for this 1 mth, and its only myself since my sis is having her Major exam and will be staying @ Yishun with my aunt.
In this 1 mth..
I wonder how will it feel like to stay with someone u ought to be closest yet u do not feel that way at all.
I wonder how will I get along with her.
I wonder how will I get over this past phobia with the same people I used to stay with, years ago.
Its something so simple, yet its all being made complex with a simple mind of mine.
Sometimes its rather heart breaking when u know that the closest is actually the one u know the least, and in fact, the furthest away from you. |
