Whats UP? Its ART..
Whats art actually? Is it all about drawing? colours, crayons and paint only?
LIke this?
 
well, that was what I thought when i chose arts appreciation as my CDS.
Just like in sec sch, when we had art & craft lesson.
And i went for my 1st tutorial for CDS ysd.
and it was far more that what i tot it would be..
Bev, Qy and me are in the same tutorial cls!
How drop dead cool can it be? Haha. ((:
cls suppose to start at 9am sharp at sch of IT.
well, we arent that familiar with that building and it was 9.15am, we were still searchin high and low for the class.
Finally after some asking and stuffs, we found it. hooray
We were quite surprised when we enter the class,
There were chairs and tables around but it was all cluttered in one corner and its for the purpose of putting bags instead of having butts sitting on them.
So, obviously all of us including the tutor were sitting on the floor.
Its like a very open and creative environment for ppl to share their thoughts and ideas.
Anywae a tutorial scheldue was given to us..
And the 1st few wks is gonna focus on drama. woo.
So ysd we had 4 sessions in that tutorial, soooo fun and unique that i'm gonna share all of them!
But seriously when we enter the class, the 3 of us were whispering among whether to change CDs because looking ard, the students there are all so 'unique' in a way that they dress and react that we find it so uncomfortable, when we thought we are the most 'normal' pp there.
There was a guy in red, with long hair and spects, which we thought intially was a girl.
But when he speaks, we were so stunned.
1st session:
self-introdution!
oh well, "just say my name only lah... chicken feet!" That was what i thought when the tutor said that.
BUt. she said everybody has to think of a exaggerated action and do it while saying your name.
And thats not all! after 1 round of a big action with your beloved name, the whole thing is repeated at a super fast speed but with all the other ppl copying your action together with u when saying ur name.
HAHAH. this is the 1st time i encounter this! woo.
2nd session:
We were divided into 2 groups and each group is given a theme.
Ours is cemetery.
So using our body, the 7 of us had to act like a cemetery in a freezing mode, just like a picture just captured by a camera.
AHH. i dint take the pic down! we posed like so real that the other group guessed it correctly when making the 1st attempt.
3rd session:
Its quite simliar to session 2 but now its moving pics.
Theme is beach!
The story goes like this..
4 girls were playing volleyball and there is a lifeguard, another person was sun-tanning.
And all of a sudden, clinton(the one with long hair guy) drowns.
PAUSE.
Everybody turns & sreams.
The END.
And next, all of us were asked to stand together in a corner.
The tutor suddenly do an action of holding a book in the air in the middle of the space.
We were asked to form a picture of a place ourself with our creativity and observation, without any communication.
1 person took a courage and continue the theme by acting like she is pushing a tray.. i got the idea of a librarian trying to push the stacks of books and putting them in place.
Another girl went in and act like she is typing something..
And one by one, ppl gradually came and continue the pic with their own different perceptions and actions.
And after the whole thing, we had serious communication breakdown!
some said office, some library and even at bus stop waiting for a bus.
haha.
4th session:
This deals with sounds... Theme is jungle! Droplets of water dropping.. A woosh of wind came by swirling peacefully .. A monkey came swinging by, making noises. Lion roaring, sounds of a rattle snake. This is what we can hear when we close our eyes. Amazing awesome.. Cant believe that the few of us actually manage to make this kind of noise, just like in a jungle. 2 hours just past like this.. In a relaxing & creative mode, yet learning at the same time. so cool!

School of ROcks/ ROts ?
2nd day of school!
And its as fun. ((:
Went to the 1st lecture of psycology,
And its sooo packed that some people have to sit on the floor.
All thanks to the people + me & banana who went to the time slot that isnt our lecure. woo
Anywae the lecture is fun with the lecturer around.
He jokes, he smiles and he laugh.
Thou he isnt young in his age anymore. =X
Lecture ends at 11am, and next tutorial starts at 2pm.
CDS is making our timing and time table go hay -wire with many gaps in between.
Anywae the 3 of us did a lot of things in that 3 hours.
1st we went to find our course manager to get another CDS, because every1 need to have 2 CDS in this sem.
Due to the limited choices, we chose arts appreciation.
I know it doesnt really suits me.. because i'm nt an artistic person after all.
But u noe.. People can still try rite? x)
And we are in the same tutorial class for art appreciation!!
Its so rare for the friends or even classmates to be in the same tutorial class.
even thou we're taking psycology, there isnt any class mates that is the same tutorial class as me.
And the 3 of us are different class too.
That means..
I NEED TO KNOW NEW PPL AGAIN.
For all the pair works, projects and all the shit.
Next, we went to print our notes for marketing.
sigh. THey dun provide book for that module, so u have to print lesson by lesson online.
And we print ALL the notes at 1 short thou it took us quite some time. We brought 500 papers.
FInally all done. And we went to bind it!
so man zhu gang.
This is mine.. 1 bk for lecure and 1 for tutorial because its so thick to combine both.
When u combine lec & tutorial.. this is wad u get. for 1 sem!
we have our own cover page. Qy created it. ((: so cool rite?
Back in sec shool every book is prepared and spoon feed for u, now we have to prepare our own nw for this module.
And we will cherish... hmm.
3 hours just past like this, no time for lunch and we rush to comm skill tutorial.
School is empashing so much on comm skill.
1 wk we have 5 hours of comm skill, which 1 of the lesson is 3 hours straught.
can u imagine how disgusting it is?
Anywae the class has a uprising chair person.
And its non other than warrwn elliot! woo hoo.
He's giving announcement. and i think hes gonna do gd job.
anywae he choose qy as treasurer. and have u heard of treasurer having sub commitee?
me n bev is one of them. we were laughing our heads off when we heard that, because its like so ... lame? hmm.
Took a couple of pics during comm skill, comm skill 2 is still as boring as comm skill1.
Yawn. Qy has already fell asleep, so me and bev are playing with the cam.

Went to changi airport with him for dinner.
And i brought this at the choc trees.
Its so awesomely nicee ... YUMMY.
And at only $2.75.
CHoc is my enemy and my lover.
it makes me fat but still..

Movie Marathon!
omg. these are the movies i watched recently, dint realise it was that much until i just finished another one todae.
I just finished watching silk because i was browsing through the internet and realise there isnt other nice movies because almost all of them have already been watched by me.
Well. the movie was okay..
I realise i dun like horror movie after all, unlike in the past i really love them to bits.
Now.. i feel they are a waste of money, doesnt have the feeling of satisfaction after watching it.
Not so bad for silk, as there is a story line and the story has some meaning after all.. Some horror movies are just scaring ppl all the way, no story no meaning to it.
Among these movies, i think you me and dupree, and world trade center are nicer.
Maybe because of the ppl i watched with? haha.
Anywae death note is a nice movie too. But the ending spoils everything, the plot is rather creative and it do injects a different feel to ppl.

Start of school todae!
Guess what. We only came school for like ard 1 1/2 hour?
The lesson suppose to start from 9am to 4m todae but there is no tutorial this wk. Hooray! ((:
That meant to be 2hour lecture todae was shortened to 1 1/2 hour and the lecturer said every lesson would be like this. woo
Principal of marketing for hospitality & management. the new module for todae.
And the dateline for all the project, field trips, case study PBL is already up on the notes!
scary.
This week is gonna be rather slack, but dun get deceive!

Do u have that kind of heartwarming feeling?
Thats wad i actually feel when i compare this 2 places..
how different it actually feels, how big difference is the gap.
I rem once i had smth urgent on & couldnt make it to work at Joaquim, so i lied to my manager that i was sick by smsing him.
He replied, " Hmm... k den u have a rest 1 get some1 e replace u k.."
Never even told me to produce a MC and believe in me.
And i was extremely guilt-stricken, like i've commited some sin. And promise myself not to do this again.
BUt if the work place were to direct to this particular company...
Guess what?
" WA U SO LATE DEN SAY AH. later cant find ppl to replace u how?! u better get a replacement asap.
AND REM TO GET A MC, later consider MIA. and rem MIA have to deduct $80 plus todae pay hor!"
okay, i understand company should have some rules too.
Just like a school cant get without school rules.
late pay, nv come work pay, shortage in cashier pay, take wrong order pay. Pay and pay and pay.
And i cant imagine b4 i fight for my pay, i was only given $4.5/h. n work like a hellish slave.
Turning back time, vivdly in my mind. 1 yr ago..
it was the last paper for Os, Jayne Pj nore & me were haunting desperately for a job, we walked past Rt and wanted to try out luck for the interview.
Seriously at that point of time i wasnt v interested, it offers v low pay. But pj and jayne wanted it, so i joined it as well thou was kinda relunctant.
But because we can work tgt.. so i agreed.
Thinking back den, i was surprised due to the fact that because of this company, we were bond up.
How many of the friends actually do contact & went up after they graduated?
Rt makes us able to.
BAck to reality, 1 by 1, they left.
I know i sound like a little wimp, being so silly & childish.
But i really miss the time.. all those little things. the little joy and fun we use to have.
when we were ganging up to bully some of the management we dislike in the past.
Gossiping abt the ppl we dislike.
Laughing with Jayne & Pj at the girl that sells bra opposite of us, how she walks and like a whore.
3 yrs of friendship with jayne.. and 5 with pj.
Going home tgt, rudy being 1 of the best friend in Rt always helping ppl, liftin up the whole atmosphere.
In the past, i always anticipate the day when i can work with jayne, rudy or pj. and if i do i would get so excited.
But nw? theres nth to anticipate..
go there like a zombie, punch in.. faster time pass ... and go home lah....... nothing.
I know, we can still meet up during free time rite?
Thats what ppl always say so.
own sch friends, new job, bf, projects, family.
so much commitment that has higher priority den sec sch friends. when will one really have the free time to care abt a friend who is not in the same sch with u anywae?
I can say work is only the chance for us to see each other.
I only knew ysd that rudy wanted to quit, and i felt the pinch.
Because all of a sudden.. i realise so many people had actually left. And they were those that came in tgt with me.
Sad to say, we had wasted 1 hour of the lady's boss time ysd.
She dint get what she wants.
Blabbering for the last 1 hour + her needs, her own point of view, her expectation.
her and her and her...
whats with the ppl den?
sigh.
I'm nt a workaholic person, because i noe there are more impt things than work that is worthy of my time to care about.
My family, loves ones, sch, friends..
Actually w/o work, i have enuff $ to survive thru..
But ppl always wanted more, to save up, to buy anything u want.
I'm would care less but nw it concerns ppl, your long known friends. |

Went to vivovity with him ysd.
And its... MARVELLOUS.
Simple shops being made unique, that doesnt have the same old 'feel'.
It do injects a new & refreshed feeling to those shoppers.
woo.
Lets look at the long john silver..
The deco is totally diff from wad u see in cwp or Tm.
Same pricing ..
Anywae from afar, this is the 1st shop that captures my attention.
And it dint disappoint me!
It sells chocs & sweets that are all imported from oversea, where u cant find them in spore.
Reasonable price too. ((:
We brought kitkats. YUMMY.
Hazelnut temptation..
and mint crisps! 
Rem to go out of the shoppin when u eva visit here.
It do offers from indoor visual to outdoor visual too.
 
This is the 1st floor.
3rd floor is nicer, simply looks like a garden with those small pools..
especially at nite, its exceptionally vibrant.
Too bad i dint take the pics down..

School time table is finally out todae.
And i gt my CDS for my comin semester..
In Tp, u need to complete 3 CDS in 3 years. Its compulsory.
Offering from Jap, french, psychology, socialogy, fashion etc..
Many of my friends gt 2 CDS at 1 go, i also dunno how the system works.
GOsh. Their time table is packed like hell.
BEv & Qy gt 1 CDS only, same as me.
We 3 gt in to psycology!
Hooray!
But i do wonder when will they give us our next CDS.
I wish, i pray hard that it wont be yr 2 semester 1.
Its gonna kill me if its tts the case for those taking only 1 CDs only nw.
Just imagine, u'r every tired from travellin to sentosa to have ur lesson there already and u;re so excited to take the train home.
BUT, due to 1 CDS which u havent take, ur time table tells u to go back to TEMASEK POLY from sentosa to have ur dear lecture & tutorial.
I will die man.
BE it in yr 2 sem 2! tt wld b gr8.

i've seen ppl flaring up.
i've seen ppl breaking down,
i've seen ppl tearing crying.
Ppl are always playing hide and seek. Mentally.
I'm so amazed at how a normal $5/h job can do.
I would understand if its the management, but hello.
Its the svc crew nw, young teens whos just doing some part time to earn some quick cash.
Need to distinguise clearly from the white & black.

FInally the urge of blogging is back, have been pretty lazy recently.
I still cant believe the fact that sis and me had gone to genting, its not a big deal to go there because its cheap & it seems that every1 has gone there b4.
But to go there with only a 15year old girl is quite a kick for me, totally different feel.
The last time i went there was like a few donkey year ago, when i was a little imp then, couldnt rem anything except the impression that it was a very cold place.
So was kinda worried about getting around to the place, everything was unfamiliar.
But gosh, it was so simply easy. And bingo, everything was right!
All the bookings and stuffs is all done by me, just calculate the cost and dad bank in the money.
Another level more independent! hooray.
So we left on thur morning. And the bus driver uncle seem so amazed when he knows that we are underaged. lols.
Because we are both under 18.
The bus is super comfy with own tv screen and sit that seems like a bed. woo

After a few movies, crapping and eating..
We finally reached! 61/2 hours of bus journey.
And I dunno where to check in my hotel.
Walk to the lobby and realise it wasnt there!
After some asking and stuffs, its at the place near the bus terminal..
Our 13th floor room.. nt a nice name.. er.
After some unpacking and we fly off to lunch. woo
Decided on pizza hut after a stroll..
We ordered 1 large pasta.
Wanted to have a light meal & tot of sharing the LARGE pasta cause we wasnt so hungry..
BUT..
This is their large portion.
For guys, i think it isnt enought for 1 person.
Large is priced at Rm 15+, Regular is at Rm10+.
oh. And i do wonder how does their regular portion looks like.. Duh.
So we wasnt satisfied and ordered another pasta.
Total we had 2 pastas, tempura prawn, & 1 drink & a soup.
Total bill is Rm 47.
Its qute cheap compared to spore..
And our stomach is satisfied!
ofF to playing..
We went to the haunted house indoor.
Priced at Rm18 per person, its worth it.
I went & bought 2 tickets and tot of going in already.. Bcause i dint tot it was tt scary.
But my sis die die also dun dare, she wanted to wait for more ppl to go in tgt.
So.. we waited..
From 2 ppl.. to 3 ppl.. to 5.. 7 ppl.
And we're all ready!
Its all dark & spooky in the room, seems like those images in those ghost movies.
and all u have is a light stick to guide ur path out.
Among the 7 ppl, there is 2 ci xiang & fatherly men, dutch ppl i guess.
Normally when u're scared, a sudden tap or a 'BOO!' from ur friend will make u scream.
But over there.. some ppl will dress as really scary and hide in some corner to grab ur feet, ur ams as u walk along.
We were so afraid that we dunno wad r we doing..
Sis grabbed 1 of the ci xiang men by the arm and i grabbed him by his shirt as we walk.
The other 1 stand behind us to protect us from those 'external threats'.
And we totally dunno them, they were so kind enuff to stand all our nonsense. woosh.
I hate to sound like those timid weak girls, like those who scream even at the sight of cockroach but seriously.. We were screaming like hellish crazy.
YA btw. i'm nt afraid of cockroach. but those tt fly are exceptional.
Finally we're out!
Expectionally paiseh and embarassed, quickly say a thank you and run off liao.
Woo. After this, i realise all the oter haunted house are so lame as compared to dis..
There are some ppl dressed horribly outside the place to attract ppl in.
And this vampire is counted as the not so scary wan, he's so kind enuff to take this pic with me!
Cause u actually need to pay to take pic with them..
The view outside is deceiving, because it isnt scary.. seems like those kido haunted play.
so we played around outside for a while.. MEmorial.
Using my lousy phone to zoom in from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor. eee.
After much FUN, we went shopping!
The things there are pretty much like spore actually.
Brought a few clothes & accesories.
Shopping spree..
Nike shop!
 
 
Its bad enuff to try their cap & not buying them, taking photos is more cheapo!
Some caps are quite nice.. but i cant find any suitable occasion to wear in spore so dint buy them.
Somemore its only Rm29.90 only..
And the bear is to advertise the choc shop, bcause there is really no customers..
And we went to buy our movie tickets.
Tell u ppl.. its so pathetic there. there are only 3 movies shown.
The edge (some ulu hongkong show), super ex gf & rob-B hood.
we decided to watch rob-b hood cause i've watched super ex b4..
And the ticket is only Rm 10 for those normal wan.
Another wan is Rm15.
U dun sit on those normal sit but a osim massaging chair with remote control that can adjust the posture & stuffs. Somemore with free 1 popcorn, kitkat & mineral water.
CHEAPPP LIKE HELLL.
i massage till so shuang while watching movie, but like some old folks. woosh. 
Its a 11pm show, so ended around 1am. Freaking cold..
So have our supper here. looks like some haunted place eh?
We ordered Wine chicken soup.. YUMMY.
seems like those tonic old herbal soup eh?
ITs nice loh.
We eat till so gan dong. The more i write, the more i crave for it.. AHH.
After a warm supper... went back to hotel.

Day 2! The sun is back..
And we decided to play outdoor rides.
We played the 2 roller coasters, go-kart & spinner. oh & the haunted outdoor hse, boring like siao.
The spinner is the 1 i hated most because it makes me so dizzy!
The go-kart is rather boring, 5 mins swirling the same flat route with no slopes at all.
I think Escape wan is more fun..
Due to our inappropriate foot wear, we have to pay Rm4 for the rental of a freaking ugly black shoe. I do wonder how many ppl have worn them without their socks on.. argh.
While walking around..
We found some horses!
so damn cuteee. Look like big version of rabbits. woo.
but only children can ride on them, if we ride i'm sure their bone is gonna break.
 
We dint stay long for outdoor rides cause wasnt feeling too well. Around 1 plus h only, we went back to rest in hotel..
After some rest.. we get out of hotel & decided to watch the omega 4D movie!
Alice in wonderland at 9.30pm. 5 mins show time only..

The effects are interesting.. there is really water splashing on u comin from ur sit when ur jorney met some water. lols
Its near 10pm den after the 4D movie.. we were wondering whether to play the indoor rides because we have nothing to do already. But those rides doesnt seem to attrract me.. Out of boredorm, we still play!

Btw i tink malaysian ppl are quite friendly.. will chat to u while waiting for ur turn in ur ride.
Went back to hotel & rot till morning.

LAST DAY. ready to check out.
Its raining quit heavily den, but thankfully we're goin back!
The 1st 2 days have been really nice weather..
The journey back is killing me slowly, head giddy, stomach quiver & the feeling of vomiting but cant vomit is a disaster.
We brought some chips in the bus to eat , but to no avail..
I look like i have yellow chips, but its the chips!
